Cappagh Browne Supports Future Talent at Chichester High School Careers Fair
Category: News, People
Introduction
The event brought together a wide range of employers, colleges and training providers, giving students the opportunity to speak directly with different professions and gain a better understanding of the variety of roles available to them after school and sixth form.
Our team spent the day speaking with students about careers within Cappagh Browne and the wider water and civils industry, sharing insight into the breadth of opportunities available across operational, technical and professional roles. Discussions covered key topics including qualifications, skills, application processes and what employers look for in future recruits.

Students were encouraged to ask questions and take an active role in exploring different career routes, helping them build a clearer understanding of how classroom learning connects to the world of work. It was great to see such strong engagement and thoughtful conversations throughout the day.
Events like this play an important role in supporting young people to make informed choices about their future, while also helping to demystify careers in construction, environmental services and utilities, sectors that offer a wide range of long-term opportunities.
Cappagh Browne is committed to supporting skills development and future talent across the communities we work in, and we value opportunities to engage with schools, colleges and local organisations to inspire the next generation.
We would like to thank Chichester High School and the Sixth Form team for the invitation and for hosting a well-organised and informative event. We were delighted to take part and look forward to continuing to support future careers initiatives in the area.
