Introduction

Three wins and a Highly Commended recognition made it a night to remember for Cappagh Browne at the Women in Safety & Health (WISH) Awards 2026. The awards celebrate the achievements of women in health and safety while championing greater diversity and inclusion across the industry, and we are proud to see both our people and our initiatives recognised on a national stage.

The evening saw Kirsty Gambetta named Health & Safety Administrator of the Year, recognising her dedication and contribution to supporting health and safety excellence across the business. At an organisational level, Cappagh Browne received the Inclusive Company Award – Health & Safety, reflecting our ongoing commitment to creating a workplace where everyone feels valued, supported and able to succeed.

Innovation was also recognised, with the Cappagh Browne Women’s PPE Catalogue winning the Product/Solution Innovation Award for Women at Work. The catalogue was developed to help ensure that women have access to properly fitting PPE, supporting both safety and comfort while helping to drive a more inclusive approach to workforce protection.

Adding to the celebrations, James Hatt was Highly Commended in the Diversity Champion of the Year – Health & Safety category, recognising his commitment to promoting inclusion and positive change within the industry.

These achievements reflect the care, effort and ideas that our colleagues bring to making health and safety work for everyone. We would like to congratulate Kirsty, James and everyone involved in these award-winning initiatives, and thank the WISH Awards organisers for a fantastic evening.
